The Telegram and its website, TDTNews.com, reach more than 60,000 adults in Central Texas each week, The newspaper has expanded regional coverage through FME News Service – a joint initiative with the Killeen Daily Herald that gives readers greater news and sports coverage through shared information gathering and reporting. The two newspapers also work together to produce Tex Appeal Magazine, a bi-monthly publication on gloss stock offering news and features about local individuals and businesses that is delivered to Telegram and Herald subscribers. It is also available at dozens of single-copy locations across Bell County. The Fort Hood Sentinel has been produced by the Telegram by contract with the U.S. Army for more than 70 years. The weekly newspaper is distributed to all on-post housing and hundreds of newsstands across the region. The Sentinel’s website, FortHoodSentinel.com, is maintained by the Telegram and is another way for active duty personnel, family members, veterans and the community to stay up-to-date on post news and events. The Telegram also serves audiences and advertisers with niche publications, including TDT Homes Magazine and the Central Texas Community Guide, and event sponsorships (the Day for Women, Bell County Spelling Bee and the Bridal Expo). The newspaper partners with the Temple Area Home Builders Association for the production of the Home and Garden Show and the Parade of Homes.
